The Well

The Well is concerned with inspiring and enriching community by offering resources for church congregations, para-church and religious organizations, and other service-minded groups. For several years, The Well has consisted primarily of a ministry newsletter. Inside this newsletter, you will find creative writings, editorials, handy tips and information, updates about Hyaets, and more. However, The Well is also committed to creating, compiling, and enabling other resources, such as study materials, teaching aides, curricula, and reading/prayer guides.

Resources

Drawing from the well of the poor, oppressed, and marginalized, Hyaets, through The Well works to create and provide ministry resources for local church congregations. These are often personalized for particular churches facing particular contexts. However, we are working towards providing seasonal resources to help churches talk, grow, reflect, discern, pray, and act in ways that build up community, particularly as we struggle and confront issues of poverty, reconciliation, justice, and sustainability.

Some of resources we have offered in the past can be found below.

Curriculum

Through The Well, Hyaets creates custom curricular materials for churches, para-church organizations, and other groups. You provide:

  • specific topics, concepts, discussions, or issues,
  • session length and number,
  • contextual or situational concerns related to your particular group,
  • deatils of audience,
  • requests for specific learning activities, and
  • other desires or pertinent information

and we will develop materials suited for that particular congregation in its particular context on the requested topic. Because we area non-profit, we are able to keep costs for custom curricula low and manageable for any congregation. E-mail us to inquire about a curricular project for your church!
